# Send a post to your client for approval

> Send a post for your client's approval with a review link. They approve or ask for changes on each network, and nothing posts until every network is approved.

Let your client check a post before it goes out, without giving them an account.

> [!NOTE]
>
> **In short:** In New post, use Send for approval, just below the Post button. PostMesh saves the post to wait and copies a review link for you to send your client. They open it without signing in, comment on the words and approve or ask for changes on each network. Nothing posts until every network is approved.

## Send a post for approval

**1. Write the post in New post**

Pick the accounts, write each network's version and set a time, the same as any post.

**2. Use Send for approval**

It sits just below the Post button. Type your client's name if you like; the review page and the post use it.

**3. Send the link to your client**

Confirm with **Send**. PostMesh saves the post to wait and copies the review link. If the copy didn't work, open the post in Posts and use **Copy review link**.

Every plan includes client approvals. Posts waiting for a client are on the **Needs approval** tab in Posts.

## The review link

* Your client opens it without an account or a password
* It works for 14 days, or until a day after the post's time when that is later, and never more than 30 days
* Anyone with the link can answer, so send it only to your client
* Copy it again any time from the post in Posts

## What your client can do

* See each network's version the way that network shows it
* Select any words to comment on them, or leave a note on the whole post (up to 2,000 characters each)
* **Approve** a network, or **Request changes** and say what should change
* Undo an answer while the post is still waiting

The page may ask for a quick human check before the first answer.

## How the post waits

* Nothing posts until every network is approved
* Once it is, the post goes out at its time, or within a minute when that time has passed
* When your client asks for changes, PostMesh tells you in the bell. Open the post in Posts, select **Edit** on that network's version, then send it to your client again. Only that network goes back for a new answer
* A day before the post's time, PostMesh tells you once if a network still has no answer

> [!NOTE]
>
> A post waiting for approval never goes out on its own, even when its time passes. To decide for your client, open the post in Posts: **Approve** posts it without waiting for them, and **Don't post** withdraws it, so the review link stops working.
