# Schedule Facebook posts to your Pages

Yes. PostMesh publishes text, photo and video posts to Facebook Pages you manage through the official Pages API, right away or scheduled up to 12 months ahead. Facebook doesn’t let apps post to personal profiles, so PostMesh posts to Pages only.

## What you need

- A Facebook Page you manage.
- During Facebook sign-in, select the Pages PostMesh may use. Continuing as yourself without choosing a Page isn’t enough.

## Facebook Pages at a glance

- **Account:** Facebook Pages you manage. Each Page you allow during sign-in is added as its own account. Personal profiles can’t be connected.
- **Text:** Up to 63,206 characters.
- **Each post:** Text only, up to 10 photos or one video.
- **Photos:** Any JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF or AVIF up to 40 MB. Facebook takes JPEG, PNG or GIF up to 10 MB, and gets a JPEG copy that fits when a photo doesn’t.
- **Video:** MP4, MOV or WebM, up to 1 GB.
- **Options:** A link shown as its preview card, a video title and a colored background on a short text post.
- **Scheduling:** Up to 12 months ahead. PostMesh sends it within a minute of the time you pick.
- **Analytics:** Reactions, comments and shares for posts sent from PostMesh.

## How to post to Facebook Pages

1. **Connect Facebook Pages.** Sign in with Facebook and choose the Pages PostMesh can post to.
2. **Open New post.** Pick the Facebook Pages accounts you want, plus any other networks.
3. **Write the post.** Up to 63,206 characters. Give Facebook its own version if the other networks need different text.
4. **Add media.** Add up to 10 photos (JPEG, PNG or GIF up to 10 MB) or one video (MP4, MOV or WebM, up to 1 GB), or keep it text only.
5. **Post now or schedule.** Under When, choose Now to send it right away, or Later and a time up to 12 months ahead.
6. **Check the result.** Posts shows whether Facebook Pages accepted it. If it failed, Retry failed sends again only to the accounts that failed.

## Fixes for common errors

- **“Facebook Page required”:** Connect again and select a Page you manage in the Facebook window.
- **Facebook could not connect:** Try again, accept the Page permissions, and confirm this login manages a Page.
- **A video is rejected:** Use MP4, MOV or WebM, under 1 GB.

## What PostMesh can see

- **Sees:** The names and pictures of the Pages you allow, and the reactions, comments and shares on posts you send from PostMesh.
- **Never sees:** Your password, your personal profile, Messenger, or your ads.

### Can I post to my personal profile?

No. Facebook only lets apps post to Pages, so PostMesh publishes to Pages you manage.

### What if I manage several Pages?

Every Page you allow when you connect becomes its own account in PostMesh, so you can pick which ones get each post.

### Does PostMesh post to Facebook Pages automatically?

Yes. It posts through Facebook Pages’s official API at the time you pick. There’s no phone reminder to tap.

### How far ahead can I schedule Facebook Pages posts?

Up to 12 months. PostMesh checks its queue every minute and sends each post when it’s due.

### Can I post to several Facebook Pages Pages at once?

Yes. Pick every Page you want in New post. Each one counts toward your plan’s connected-account limit.

### Can I change a scheduled post?

Yes. Open it in Posts, select Edit, make your changes and select Save changes. A post that has started sending can’t be changed.

### Is there a free plan?
