# LinkedIn scheduler: schedule LinkedIn posts

Yes. PostMesh publishes text, image and video posts to your personal LinkedIn profile through LinkedIn’s official API, right away or scheduled up to 12 months ahead. Company Pages aren’t supported yet.

## What you need

- A personal LinkedIn profile. Company Pages can’t be connected yet.

## LinkedIn at a glance

- **Account:** Your personal LinkedIn profile, connected with Sign In with LinkedIn.
- **Text:** Up to 3,000 characters.
- **Each post:** Text only, up to 9 photos or one video. Posts are public.
- **Photos:** Any JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF or AVIF up to 40 MB. LinkedIn takes JPEG, PNG or GIF up to 20 MB, and gets a JPEG copy that fits when a photo doesn’t.
- **Video:** MP4, WebM or MOV, 3 seconds to 30 minutes, up to 200 MB.
- **Scheduling:** Up to 12 months ahead. PostMesh sends it within a minute of the time you pick.
- **Analytics:** None yet: PostMesh doesn’t have LinkedIn’s permission to read post metrics.

## How to post to LinkedIn

1. **Connect LinkedIn.** Sign in with LinkedIn and approve PostMesh. We never see your password.
2. **Open New post.** Pick the LinkedIn accounts you want, plus any other networks.
3. **Write the post.** Up to 3,000 characters. Posts are public. Give LinkedIn its own version if your audience there needs different text.
4. **Add media.** Add up to 9 photos (JPEG, PNG or GIF up to 20 MB) or one video (MP4, WebM or MOV, 3 seconds to 30 minutes, up to 200 MB), or keep it text only.
5. **Post now or schedule.** Under When, choose Now to send it right away, or Later and a time up to 12 months ahead.
6. **Check the result.** Posts shows whether LinkedIn accepted it. If it failed, Retry failed sends again only to the accounts that failed.

## Fixes for common errors

- **LinkedIn could not connect:** Try again and accept posting access.
- **A video is rejected:** Use MP4, WebM or MOV between 3 seconds and 30 minutes, under 200 MB.

### Can I post to a Company Page?

Not yet. PostMesh posts to your personal profile.

### How big can a video be?

MP4, WebM or MOV, 3 seconds to 30 minutes, up to 200 MB.

### Does PostMesh post to LinkedIn automatically?

Yes. It posts through LinkedIn’s official API at the time you pick. There’s no phone reminder to tap.

### How far ahead can I schedule LinkedIn posts?

Up to 12 months. PostMesh checks its queue every minute and sends each post when it’s due.

### Can I post to several LinkedIn accounts at once?

Yes. Pick every account you want in New post. Each one counts toward your plan’s connected-account limit.

### Can I change a scheduled post?

Yes. Open it in Posts, select Edit, make your changes and select Save changes. A post that has started sending can’t be changed.

### Is there a free plan?

No. Creator, Growth and Pro all start with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers, and you can cancel before it ends.
