## How it works

Engagement rate is interactions divided by an audience number, times 100. Which audience number you divide by changes the answer a lot, so the calculator shows all three: by followers, by reach and by views.

By followers compares accounts of different sizes. By reach shows how the people who saw the post responded. By views suits video. Use the same one every time you compare.
