## How it works

Instagram can drop empty lines and trailing spaces from a caption, which squashes paragraphs together. The generator puts an invisible character on each empty line and removes the spaces at the end of lines, to help preserve spacing. Check the pasted result in the destination app.

The invisible character is the Braille blank (U+2800). It looks like empty space but counts as one character toward the caption’s 2,200.

Nothing you type leaves your browser.

## Steps

1. Paste your caption or bio with the breaks you want.

2. Press Copy.

3. Paste it into Instagram.

### Why does Instagram remove my line breaks?

Instagram can collapse empty lines and lines that end in a space. An invisible character on each empty line keeps it.

### Does the invisible character count toward the limit?

Yes, one character per empty line, out of the caption’s 2,200.

### Does it work in bios?

Yes. The same text works in a bio, which allows 150 characters.
