# LinkedIn font generator

Canonical: https://postmesh.app/tools/linkedin-font-generator

Style short text for LinkedIn, copy it and check the result in your draft.

## How it works

These are Unicode substitutions and decorative frames, not installed font files. Native text formatting may be a better option when available.

Keep important information in plain text for readability and accessibility. Unsupported characters remain unchanged.

## Steps

1. Type your text.

2. Search or filter the styles.

3. Copy a result and test it in the destination app.

## Styles you can make

Every example below is real output from this page. Each style also comes in eight decorated frames, such as stars and corner brackets.

| Style | Example | Good for |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Sans bold | 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗲𝗱𝗜𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 | A name or the first line of a bio |
| Bold | 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐞𝐝𝐈𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 | Headings inside a long caption |
| Italic | 𝐿𝑖𝑛𝑘𝑒𝑑𝐼𝑛 𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑑𝑦 | A quote or a credit line |
| Cursive | ℒ𝒾𝓃𝓀ℯ𝒹ℐ𝓃 𝓇ℯ𝒶𝒹𝓎 | A soft, handwritten feel |
| Gothic | 𝔏𝔦𝔫𝔨𝔢𝔡ℑ𝔫 𝔯𝔢𝔞𝔡𝔶 | Gothic or old-style themes |
| Outline | 𝕃𝕚𝕟𝕜𝕖𝕕𝕀𝕟 𝕣𝕖𝕒𝕕𝕪 | An outlined, graphic look |
| Typewriter | 𝙻𝚒𝚗𝚔𝚎𝚍𝙸𝚗 𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚍𝚢 | Code-like or typewriter text |
| Small caps | LɪɴᴋᴇᴅIɴ ʀᴇᴀᴅʏ | Quiet labels and sign-offs |
| Circled | ⓁⓘⓝⓚⓔⓓⒾⓝ ⓡⓔⓐⓓⓨ | Playful highlights |
| Strikethrough | L̶i̶n̶k̶e̶d̶I̶n̶ r̶e̶a̶d̶y̶ | Before-and-after or jokes |
| Spaced out | L i n k e d I n r e a d y | Airy, spaced-out headings |
| Upside down | ʎpɐǝɹ uIpǝʞuı˥ | A one-off surprise |

## Where styled text fits on LinkedIn

Styled letters count toward the same limits as plain ones. Networks that count UTF-16 units count most styled letters as two.

| Field | Limit |
| --- | --- |
| Headline | 220 characters (reported) |
| About | 2,600 characters (reported) |
| Post or caption | 3,000 characters |

## Tips that keep it readable

- Style one line, such as your name or a heading, and leave the rest plain.
- Keep words people search for in plain letters: search matches the plain alphabet, so a styled name may not be found by its spelling.
- Screen readers may read styled letters one by one or skip them, so keep the important words plain.
- Check the result on another phone: some older devices show a few styles as empty boxes.

## Why some letters don’t change

Unicode only has styled versions of the basic Latin letters, and for some styles the digits. Accented letters, most punctuation and emoji stay as they are, so the text still reads correctly.

## Questions

### Does this install a font?

No. It converts letters to Unicode characters and adds optional decorative frames.

### Is every style guaranteed to display?
