# Pinterest font generator

Canonical: https://postmesh.app/tools/pinterest-font-generator

Type once and copy styled text for pin titles, descriptions and board names. It works on Pinterest because it’s made of Unicode letters, not a font.

## How it works

Pinterest can’t change the font of your text, but Unicode includes look-alike letters in bold, italic, cursive and other styles. The generator swaps each letter for its styled version, so the result pastes like any other text.

Letters without a styled version, such as most accented letters, stay as they are. Screen readers may read styled letters one by one, or skip them, so keep the important words in plain text.

Nothing you type leaves your browser.

## Steps

1. Type your text.

2. Pick a style.

3. Press Copy and paste it where you want it.

## Styles you can make

Every example below is real output from this page. Each style also comes in eight decorated frames, such as stars and corner brackets.

| Style | Example | Good for |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Sans bold | 𝗣𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 | A name or the first line of a bio |
| Bold | 𝐏𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 | Headings inside a long caption |
| Italic | 𝑃𝑖𝑛𝑡𝑒𝑟𝑒𝑠𝑡 𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑑𝑦 | A quote or a credit line |
| Cursive | 𝒫𝒾𝓃𝓉ℯ𝓇ℯ𝓈𝓉 𝓇ℯ𝒶𝒹𝓎 | A soft, handwritten feel |
| Gothic | 𝔓𝔦𝔫𝔱𝔢𝔯𝔢𝔰𝔱 𝔯𝔢𝔞𝔡𝔶 | Gothic or old-style themes |
| Outline | ℙ𝕚𝕟𝕥𝕖𝕣𝕖𝕤𝕥 𝕣𝕖𝕒𝕕𝕪 | An outlined, graphic look |
| Typewriter | 𝙿𝚒𝚗𝚝𝚎𝚛𝚎𝚜𝚝 𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚍𝚢 | Code-like or typewriter text |
| Small caps | Pɪɴᴛᴇʀᴇꜱᴛ ʀᴇᴀᴅʏ | Quiet labels and sign-offs |
| Circled | Ⓟⓘⓝⓣⓔⓡⓔⓢⓣ ⓡⓔⓐⓓⓨ | Playful highlights |
| Strikethrough | P̶i̶n̶t̶e̶r̶e̶s̶t̶ r̶e̶a̶d̶y̶ | Before-and-after or jokes |
| Spaced out | P i n t e r e s t r e a d y | Airy, spaced-out headings |
| Upside down | ʎpɐǝɹ ʇsǝɹǝʇuıԀ | A one-off surprise |

## Where styled text fits on Pinterest

Styled letters count toward the same limits as plain ones. Networks that count UTF-16 units count most styled letters as two.

| Field | Limit |
| --- | --- |
| Pin title | 100 characters (reported) |
| Board name | 50 characters (reported) |

## Tips that keep it readable

- Style one line, such as your name or a heading, and leave the rest plain.
- Keep words people search for in plain letters: search matches the plain alphabet, so a styled name may not be found by its spelling.
- Screen readers may read styled letters one by one or skip them, so keep the important words plain.
- Check the result on another phone: some older devices show a few styles as empty boxes.

## Why some letters don’t change

Unicode only has styled versions of the basic Latin letters, and for some styles the digits. Accented letters, most punctuation and emoji stay as they are, so the text still reads correctly.

## Questions

### Will this work on Pinterest?

Yes. The styled letters are standard Unicode characters, so they paste into pin titles, descriptions and board names. A few older devices may show some of them as boxes.

### Why didn’t some letters change?

Unicode only has styled versions of the basic Latin letters and digits. Accented letters, symbols and emoji stay as they are.

### Do styled letters count as more characters?

Each styled letter is one character, but most sit outside the basic range of Unicode, so networks that count in UTF-16 units, such as TikTok, count them as two.

### Is it accessible?

Screen readers may read styled letters one by one, or skip them, so keep the important words in plain text.
